Keegan Gerhard
Ok, I know this picture is terrible (it was taken with my blackberry), but it is SO prized!
This is myself and Keegan Gerhard, the host of The Food Network Challenge. They host competitions for bakers all around the country. I met him at Disney's Party of the Senses, where I got to try his sinful chocolate dessert. He was an absolute delight to meet (very handsome as well), and very encouraging of my bakery business.... and said that he hopes to meet again when he is handing me a check for $10,000 (the first place prize on The Challenge).

Mah Jong Tile Cake
Mah Jong is an ancient Chinese tile game, similar to dominos. The client is a fanatic of the game so her husband wanted to give her larger than life Mah Jong Tiles for a birthday cake. We made 5 (9x13) cakes with all different flavors:
Carrot cake with cream cheese icing
White cake with an amaretto glaze and strawberry amaretto buttercream
Chocolate cake with a chocolate rum buttercream
Butter vanilla cake with an espresso buttercream
Red Velvet cake with a cream cheese buttercream
The images on the surface of the cake are made with rice paper and edible ink

""THE CAKE" was AMAZING. You did fantastic with taking the Mah Jong theme to the perfect level for Sharon. The cakes in so many flavors was a hit and each one was delicious. I gave your name to so many of our guests who I am certain will be selecting you to create a wonderful edible memory for their next special event. Many thanks for helping us to celebrate a milestone event in our lives. - Barry Jacobson"
